Do you thaw these strawberries before using them or just use them frozen? I don’t feel they would poor good frozen so this may be a dumb question. Sorry.

Is the quantity amt of strawberries correct.
2 16 oz pkgs of strawberries which is 32 oz.
U put 3/4 cup which is 6 oz in the batter. That leaves 26 oz of strawberries on top of icing. Just makng sure.

In reply to Christie. Hi Christie! Did you use sweetened strawberries? I use frozen already sugared strawberries. They have a different consistency than just plain frozen strawberries.

How did you get so much juice from the strawberries?
I use frozen sliced strawberries and did not get that much juice.

OHMYGOSH!!! I used to have this very recipe years and years ago, but lost it. I’ve been searching for it ever since. I just knew it as strawberry cake and found it in a church cookbook. I’m so glad to have found it again. Thanks!
