Does the tortellini need to be boiled first? Also when does the basil paste get added? I don’t see it in the instructions.

In reply to Marsha. I cooked the tortellini in salted water at a low boil 30 seconds or so less than the recommended minimum cooking time, then assembled and baked this casserole. It was delicious. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

I want to make the easy chidken tortellini pasta bake recipe.
In the ingredients list I see “1/2 grated parmesan cheese.”
Assuming that this should be 1/2 cup but would appreciate clarification.

Hi! I came across this recipe and want to make it for dinner tonight. All I have on hand is frozen tortellini. Should I precook it or layer it using it from frozen and just adjust cooking time?
