Hi Jaren,
I first tried this in 2018, and wrote to tell you how much I enjoyed your recipe. Still one of my go-to recipes, and I’ve taken to freezing a few containers of it to have later on. It’s a great lunch or dinner on a cold or rainy day! During the winter, I make it once a month. I’ve told family & friends about this, and just shared the recipe with my auto mechanic!

So, I just made this with conecuh sausage, an Alabama stable. It was a little thin, and I had some shredded mozzarella..OMG SO GOOD!

In reply to Kathleen. Yes, I think it would be fine. I put everything in together at the same time. It's similar to cooking potatoes in oven for about an hour.
