I got my first negative comment the other day, since I’m a new blogger I took it to mean that maybe I have actual readers now and not just drive-by traffic from pinterest since someone actually took the time to write a negative comment 🙂 ? I can see how it would get annoying quickly. This cake looks amazing, I love poke cakes!

It makes me sad too, people can be so hurtful.

🙁 🙁 People can be so mean, and I still don’t think I’ve grown a backbone when it comes to the hurtful things people say. You are so right though. I can’t imagine a lot of people would act like this if they weren’t sitting behind their computers, laptops and iPhones. You my dear, are fabulous and don’t ever forget that! P.S. Ohhh.. I’m sorry girl! I totally agree though, people tend to become a more vocal person online then in real life and sometimes not for the good. I think they just need to be reminded “if you don’t have anything nice to say.. don’t say it at all.”

This cake on the other hand.. delightful! Love poke cakes and coconut so this is for me for sure!

Ugh! I am so sorry to hear that! And I couldn’t agree more. People think since they have an opinion and behind a screen, they can say whatever they wish. I have had my fair share of rude commenters, and it does hurt! But I love how you pointed out that most people don’t actually follow the instructions correctly, yet we get the rath for it. Weird, huh?!
This cake is calling my name! I love anything coconut and lemon!
